SUI04 is a super mini ultrasound module for Drone, small body but excellent performance.
SUI04 is a new improved version of SU04. Single SUI-04 is increased from the original 30deg angle to 60deg beam angle obstacle avoidance.

How to connect:
1. require your PIXHAWK is version 3.5 or later version, if you use automatic obstacle avoidance function.
2. Use the 6pin wire to connect the Ultrasonic Sensor SU04 insert to the TELEM1 or TELEM2 port of PIX.
Please note:
1. Automatic obstacle avoidance function asks the firmware from PIXHAWK's version 3.5 or later version.
2. The flight controller does not identify the detection distance, if the sensor is far from the obstacle more than 450cm, it will hold altitude by barometer.
3. PIXHAWK have to be powered by LiPo battery, it does not power through USB when you use this utrasonic sensor SUI-04.
4. When you are ready for the first flight, please make sure your drone is at a lower speed to keep the safe flight.
5. Please re-enter the PIXHAWK and re-open the MissinPlanner after all the parameter setup as all the above steps.
6. If you need to achieve the full obstacle avoidance effect, use a I2C expansion board or buy a Mini PIX flight controller with a factory-configured I2C expansion board.
